If you’re a journalist, or former journalist in the U.K. and need financial help, you can apply for support quickly and easily.

To be eligible for financial help from the charity you must be a journalist or former journalist in the UK, or work for a UK organization overseas. Journalism should have been your main source of income for at least 2 continuous years out of the last 5 years or for 7 years in total (if not current). If you have been in work for less than 2 years you may qualify the organization’s First Job Fund.
