Anna-Maria and Stephen M. Kellen Fellowships give exceptional Berlin-based journalists from print, broadcast, and digital media the opportunity to travel to the United States. Fellows conduct in-depth interviews with policymakers and thought leaders, gathering insights for impactful news reports and research.

This fellowship is designed for early-career journalists, ideally working for media organizations. Applicants with limited or no international reporting experience and freelance journalists with a proven track record are also encouraged to apply.
